TRINA VAN KALSBEEK
Chris served 6 years active duty throughout Europe, Southwest Asia, and the Pacific as an Explosives Technician. Nearly 20 years combined management experience ranging from large multi billion global corporations to single employee start-up companies. Serial entrepreneur establishing numerous successful businesses from scratch in both the commercial and defense sectors. Holds a bachelors degree in Business Administration from North Central College as well as numerous certifications in Welding, Coating, and Safety disciplines.

Robert grew up with his father working in the oil and gas industry. After serving in the US Navy, Robert and his wife Trina Van Kalsbeek built their first company, Expert Sprinkler and Drainage Systems LLC, from the ground up in 1990 and operated the business until selling in 2011. Robert started working as an inspector in the oil and gas industry in 2007 and is currently working as a Chief Inspector. He is highly respected and recognized for his work with many companies such as Spectra Energy, El Paso, Anadarko Petroleum and Kinder Morgan. Having worked for companies that show no interest in the day to day operations of their inspectors sparked concerns for Robert, resulting in Cherokee Contractors Corporation being brought to light.

ROBERT VAN KALSBEEK
With over 20 years in Corporate Security and in Law Enforcement, Heidi is responsible for Recruiting, Contracts and Accounting. Prior to Cherokee, she was North America Security Manager for Syngenta Crop Protection where she led the North America Product Security Program, and was co-chair on the regional Threat Assessment Team. Mrs. Drake is a board Certified Protection Professional designation (CPP™) from the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) and is a member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals (ATAP). She is currently in pursuit of her Master’s Degree in Enterprise Risk Management from Boston University.

Charles Ahearn began his career in 2004 and has since dedicated 14 years to the oil and gas industry. Starting out as a laborer and working his way to a chief inspector he understands the importance of project integrity, safety, and deadlines. He has worked for numerous well established companies such as Enbridge, Spectra Energy, Williams, Anadarko Petroleum, and Chesapeake Midstream. Charles understood early in his career the importance of Inspection companies being involved beyond the initial staffing for the project. Success is measured by striving to provide second to none support for the inspection team and striving to exceed client expectations.
